Use Mnemonics to Remember Stuff

We use various simple tools and aids to help us remember things. These can be letters or phrases that are arranged in such a way that it’s easier to remember them, and their meanings.

Mnemonics is defined as “a technique or system of improving the memory by the use of formulas”. (via YourDictionary.com)


A sample mnemonic for spelling rules:
i before e - except after c
or when sounding like a as in neighbour and weigh


The above example helps us remember the correct spelling for the words receive and believe.
